About Me

Who am I?

A few words about me: I am a freelance French illustrator based between Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, in the south of France. My main speciality is digital illustrations. But I also have some knowledge in traditional illustrations (mainly pencils, watercolours and markers), as well as 3D sculpting and graphic design.

I officially graduated in 2019 from Ynov Aix-en-Provence as an art director and graphic designer, and I also have a bachelor degree in English.

About my career

I worked for 2 years for Perspective[s], a company which is specialised in virtual reality and augmented reality, in which I did mainly 3D modelling and texturing. Nonetheless, I also had the opportunity to do some illustrations for them.

After my studies, I considered starting my carrier as a freelancer. This idea became obvious to me during the 2020 lockdown, where I mainly worked from home. Therefore, I officially became an illustrator in 2021.

In 2021, I have worked with Fleurus Editions, a French publishing house. I illustrated their book “Les Inventions”, an educative book about the greatest inventions of History. This book, “Les Inventions”, published in may 2021, is currently available for sale. You can find more about this project on the Book Illustrations section.

About my art and my inspiration

Where does my inspiration come from?

I like to create diverse universes with a unique atmosphere. Above all, I like to combine mysterious and dark ambiances with colourful and luminous scenery.
My main inspiration comes from nature, historical aesthetics and architecture, and also multiple modern media: rock and metal music, video games, fantasy literature, and also TV series and films.

What tools do I use for my works?

I create most of my works digitally, using a Wacom tablet. Photoshop is my main software for drawing. On the other hand, I use ZBrush for my sculpt works in 3D.
From time to time, I also like to create traditional illustrations. Coloured pencils (preferably water-soluble) are my favourite mediums. I mainly use Faber-Castell pencils, markers (especially ProMarkers and BrushMarkers), watercolour and Indian ink. I particularly enjoy mixing these mediums together.

What kind of works do I make?

All kind of illustrations and designs. I am always searching for new opportunities. However, I mainly do digital paintings. My main interests are concept art, album covers, book illustrations, etc.
In 3D, I mainly prefer sculpting works (especially organic, like characters and creatures).

What are my prices for commission works?

I have no set prices, because they depend on the work itself. Please, try to be specific when you email me for work. If possible, mention the type of work, size, resolution, details, use, etc. The more informations you provide, the easier it will be to give you an estimated price.
