About me
Hello and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Marie-Albe Grau. I am a freelance illustrator, specialised in digital art, as well as traditional art (preferably with pencils, watercolours and markers), and graphic design. Currently I am living and working in the beautiful region of Provence, in southern France.
In my illustrations, I like to create mysterious universes with a unique atmosphere, and I love both dark ambiances and colourful illustrations. My main inspirations are nature, historical aesthetics, rock and metal music, video games, fantasy literature and TV series.

My Portfolio
I am specialised in digital illustrations, including graphic illustrations (cover album art, cards, letter art, illustrated logos, …), book illustrations and print illustrations (posters, cards and postcards, game cards, greeting cards, lettering, …). From time to time, I like to go back to traditional art, using pencils, watercolours and markers as my main medium.

Saveur Citron
L’illustration de juillet 2025
Pour ce mois de juillet 2025 particulièrement chaud en France, j’ai décidé de partir sur un thème très estival et chaleureux qui évoque la douceur des agrumes de Méditerranée. J’ai choisi d’illustrer des branches de citronnier, une plante que j’apprécie sous toutes ses formes : l’odeur divine de ses fleurs, la beauté du vert de son feuillage et la saveur du jus son fruit, le citron.
C’est une illustration que l’on pourrait tout à fait retrouver sur un pot de sorbet au citron, une bouteille de Limoncello, une boite de gâteaux au citron, et bien plus encore !
